What fabric do you use for your bell tents?
Our Avalon Bell Tent is made from 10.10 oz cotton canvas, and the Regatta Bell Tent is built with 8.5 oz cotton canvas. Both types of bell tents are treated with a breathable, PFC-free water repellent, mold and UV resistant finish. You can also opt for the fire water repellent fabric in all bell tents except the 8' Mini Regatta and 10' Regatta.
What's the wall height of your bell tents?
The Regatta Bell Tent has a wall height of 2'7", while the Avalon has a wall height of 3".
What do your bell tents come with?
Our bell tents arrive as a complete package, outdoors ready. That means when you buy them, they come with all poles, guylines/cords and a tool kit. You also receive any possible add-ons at no additional cost. These include a stove jack, windows, bug mesh and flooring.
Do your bell tents come with a stove jack?
Yes, all our bell tents come with a built-in stove jack, except the 8' Mini Regatta Bell Tent. The stove jacks have a 5-inch and 6-inch pre-cut pattern.
Is the tent fire repellent?
You can opt for the fire water repellent fabric when selecting your tent, except if you're choosing the 8' Mini Regatta or 10' Regatta Bell Tent.
Are your bell tents 4-season tents?
Our bell tents are good to use in colder weather or in light snow. If you're in an area that faces excessive snowfall or snowstorms, it's best not to use a bell tent in those conditions.
Do you have any accessories for your bell tents, like a rain fly or awning?
We offer awnings for our bell tents. Currently, we don't have a porch or rain fly system available for our bell tents.
What kind of flooring do you use for bell tents?
The Regatta Bell Tent has a sewn-in floor, while the Avalon has a zippered floor that can be detached.

At TrailQuest Gear, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:
1. Return Window
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.
2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
- If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.
4. Changed Your Mind?
If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).
5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.
If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@trailquestgear.com and we’ll look into it immediately.
6. Restocking Fees
In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.
